The proposed NPQ marina and private pens would provide an additional 2,200 boat pens at the best strategically located marina site along the coast between Two Rocks and Singleton. Such a facility would significantly address the current negative environmental impacts created by excessive boat activity on the Swan River. Studies undertaken of the coastline by the proponents show the proposed NPQ site provides the only possible location for a large-scale boat facility between Trigg and North Fremantle.
