What was the feedback from the North Port Quay community forums? |

More than 200 people have attended two community forums, one in Perth and the other in Fremantle, to provide feedback on the NPQ concept. Participants received a detailed briefing on the concept plan and were surveyed as to their views on the proposal at the conclusion of the session.
Participants at the community forums overwhelmingly supported the concept after receiving the detailed briefing. Survey responses showed that 80% were in support of the proposal, up from 46% at the start of the forums.
The project team has also provided briefings to a range of community, professional planning and engineering bodies and business and community leaders as part of the consultation process.
